On Sunday, April 13th, this church is the Dancefloor for Zouk devotees! No sermons—just smooth moves, good vibes, and a DJ guiding us to musical enlightenment. And a workshop to start your journey into Zouk with Xanne&Marcos.

Want to start your Brazilian Zouk journey or refine your basics? This workshop is designed to help you dance the basic movements of Zouk and feel confident and connected with your partner while doing so.
Brazilian Zouk is a partner dance that originated in Brazil, with its roots in Lambada. The dance is known for its smooth, flowing movements, dynamic head movements, and deep connection between partners. It allows for creativity, musicality, and a unique sense of expression, making it a beautiful and versatile dance style.
You can sign up without a partner, just bring your enthusiasm!

About the teachers:
Marcos danced and trained around the world in Samba de Gafiera (Funkeado), Urban Kizomba, Forró, and many Zouk styles. His repertoire & understanding of the lead/follow interaction gives him his own unique flow. He teaches workshops internationally, and as of January 2019 he joined Lisa at the Utrecht Zouk team to teach regular classes. You can check his instagram to see his style: @marcoshudsonzouk
Xanne is a passionate Brazilian Zouk dancer and instructor with a background in theater and various dance styles. She teaches at Utrecht Zouk and has given workshops at festivals in the Netherlands and Paris. Her teaching focuses on technique, connection, and flow, helping dancers build confidence and discover their own unique expression in the dance.
